The aim of the journal since its inception has been the accurate and fast presentation of new data in reproductive immunology. As reproductive immunology evolved from an initially laboratory oriented science toward increasing clinical applications, so American Journal of Reproductive Immunology evolved from a basic scientific journal into one increasingly directed toward both the basic scientist and the clinician. The scope is the whole process of reproduction as affected by immunological processes. The journal covers a variety of subspecialty topics, including fertility immunology, pregnancy immunology, immunogenetics, mucosal immunology, immunocontraception, endometriosis, recurrent spontaneous abortion, and autoantibodies.
